I've worked across the street for 8 years and go to Mel's for lunch at least once a week. I don't always order the Eggs Benedict, but when I do, it's consistently one of the best I've ever had! Everything on the menu is delicious --- you really can't go wrong here. The food, service, and atmosphere keep me coming back week after week. Highly recommend!
HEALTHY HEART BREAKFAST review by Ernie
The perfect amount of food and its healthy. Egg whites, turkey sausage, wheat toast and a fruit cup. I've probably ordered this meal 100 times, and it comes out warm and fresh each time.
CLASSIC TUNA SALAD SANDWICH review by Danielle
I had the classic tuna salad sandwich, with a garden salad and a cup of chowder for lunch today with a cup of decaf coffee and the mean was really nice. The chowder was hot and had lots of potatoes & such which I appreciated. The sandwich was on their rye bread and was lightly toasted to perfection. The garden salad was fresh and the vegetables were all crisp, firm, and fresh. The coffee was also hot and the waitress offered to refill when I had finished which I appreciated. Beyond this meal, I've enjoyed many meals at Mel's and am a loyal customer. They're the best in the area for breakfast and lunch.

My sisters and I love Mel's!! I always get the blueberry pancakes and they are scrumptious!! The coffee is delicious and the giant blueberry muffins are unbelievable!!

Have tried multiple omelettes, as well as other items, including French toast, yogurt parfait and more. All have been delicious! Portions are very generous. And servers are very friendly and courteous.
